Portrait of Jovana, the author of ACE MATH

About

Hi, I'm Jovana

I graduated in mathematics, then I taught it: as a teacher in a classroom and as a tutor in one-on-one sessions.

Both as a student and later as a teacher, I came to understand exactly what was missing from most learning materials when it came to truly mastering a subject: an explanation of every detail.

In my experience, when every step is explained clearly and thoroughly, knowledge becomes deeply understood and retained.

With this in mind, I gathered all the notes, lessons, and exercises I had accumulated throughout my studies and teaching experience, including years of handwritten materials, and transformed them into the structured learning materials you see here.

How a guide gets made

Every guide is built from my own collection of materials, accumulated and refined over years of studying and teaching. These include carefully developed notes, explanations, lessons, examples, and exercises that I have continuously organized and improved based on what students actually need to understand the subject.

I first bring all of this material together and develop it as one coherent document, so that the structure, sequence, terminology, and level of explanation are consistent across the entire topic. Only once the content is complete and fully organized is it typeset into the final guide.

Typesetting is done in LaTeX against one shared design system, which is why every guide has the same margins, the same callout colours and the same figure style. Figures are drawn in TikZ. They scale, they print, and they match the text.

The micro-lessons are free, and they are the real thing

The micro-lessons on this site are cut from the same source as the guides. They are not teasers with the good part removed. A lesson explains its one idea completely. The guides exist for when you want the whole topic in one printable place, with the worked examples and the practice sets.

Where to buy

Guides are sold as instant PDF downloads on Etsy.
